We are passionate about freshwater systems—rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and wetlands—which are are highly sensitive to water-level changes. Small fluctuations can greatly affect flood risk, dam safety, shoreline access, and regulatory compliance. High-frequency, accurate monitoring enables operators to anticipate conditions and act before thresholds are exceeded.
We have an equally big focus on marine and coastal systems which face similar risks, amplified by tides, storm surge, and sea-level variability. Transparent pricing and low ongoing costs make it practical to expand coverage as needs grow, without long-term financial lock-in.
Our pricing formula is as simple as 1, 2, 3 - We charge for (1) the sensor, (2) the mounting accessories (bracket/optional external antennas) and a (3) single price per sensor per year, which includes all of the data transmission costs and access to our platform Porthole for as many users as you'd like with all the alerts and analytics included.
We don't charge extra for anything else!
Installation in under 10 minutes
AquaMetrics sensors are designed for rapid deployment across a wide range of freshwater and marine environments.
Sensors can be installed on docks, jetties, bridges, shoreline structures, and other fixed assets with minimal tools and site preparation.
Installation typically takes minutes, not hours – allowing teams to deploy monitoring quickly in response to changing conditions or emerging risks.
The flexible mounting system enables sensors to be repositioned or redeployed as requirements change.
Operation and maintenance
Once installed, the sensor takes high-frequency, accurate readings (user-configurable and up to every 5 minutes), providing real-time alerts for your aquatic health, safety and operational goals.
Sensors are battery powered and designed for long-term (10+ years) outdoor and marine use, with extended service life and reliable performance in harsh conditions.
The system is designed for long-term deployment in exposed environments, with no moving parts and no routine calibration required – reducing operational overhead and site visits.

AquaMetrics brings all data together in one simple platform.
Live and historic water-level data is available through an intuitive dashboard, with configurable alerts and thresholds to support early warning and decision-making.
Data can be exported (CSV/XLSX/HTML etc.) or integrated with existing systems via our API where required, supporting reporting, modelling, design and compliance workflows.
